Baby Filled Weekend

On Friday, Josie and I ran to Mansfield to meet miss Chloe! Well, I went to the hospital, and she stayed at Grandma's to eat her snack and take a nap. I still cant get over how small Chloe is, she was light as a feather, and didn't make a peep while I held her. She must have known that her favorite Aunt was in the room :).

We introduced Josie to magazines this weekend, and to say she was obsessed is an understatement. She LOVED ripping all the pages out and throwing them all over the floor.

Saturday, we finally headed to Cincinnati to meet Patrick Joseph! We were so excited, and apparently Josie was as well, because she didn't sleep at all. Well, I take that back..she fell asleep for 30 mins after we changed her diaper because she crapped her pants. Joy. She was a good girl, and played by herself for a bit, and then I introduced her to the baby and she as all about him. Trying to pet him, or slap him, however you want to look at it. Overall, she was good, but was definitely more fussy than normal because she had been up since 10:30. 

Liz looked amazing for only being 3 weeks postpartum, and Joseph is the master swaddler, and has even changed a few diapers (with assistance) :).

Happy Friday

Happy Friday everyone! Josie and I are so excited to go visit Chloe today and Patrick in Cincinnati tomorrow- babies galore! :)  Josie had a very busy week with her new crawling escapades and she is now eating dinner with us most night. I still feed her, her snack when we get home and then she gets to taste what we cook at 6. She LOVED everything this week. She had "Mexican Monday" with us, and ate ground beef, black beans and avocado. Tuesday, she had tuna noodle- only the noodles, but she absolutely loved them. Then on Wednesday, she had lemon chicken with peas and couscous and enjoyed that as well. Such a big girl!

Welcome Chloe Jane

She has finally arrived! Keri went in for her induction at 5:30 am and Miss Chloe Jane was born at 2:20 pm (she only pushed for 7 minutes- total horse shit!). She weighs 6lb 13oz  and is 19.5 in long (Josie was 2 lbs heavier). We can't wait to meet the new addition to our family sometime this weekend! Congrats Keri and Frank!!!!

We have a crawler!

Well, we have a crawler on our hands! She has been working hard for the last few weeks, flopping around, sitting up, spinning around, and now she has finally mastered it! Time to lock all the cabinets. The one thing she will absolutely crawl to is a glass of water, she is obbbbbbbbbbsessed!

Still no baby Nemeth, we are patiently waiting....

Happy Friday

Happy Friday everyone! Thank god this week went by fast. I am still trying to catch up on my sleep, and hopefully will this weekend. No big plans (unless baby Nemeth decides to come), but lots of cleaning, cooking, rearranging will be done to the house. Spring cleaning a bit late this year.

Josie has her 9 month pictures this afternoon, so lets pray things go well. Its going to be really warm, and I know we have a small window before she gets hungry and tired, so we will do our best.

I'm Alive

Well, I survived the weekend, am alive, a little worse for wear, but glad to be back home with Josie and Nick. As you can see, I got lots of great pictures this weekend so I didn't feel too disconnected. Josie and Daddy had a great time- worked on crawling, read some books, ate some cheerios, and watched a few movies. AND she started sitting up all by herself ( hence the photo in her crib). She can now go from sitting, to on her tummy, and back to sitting. BIG GIRL! Still flopping around as far as crawling is concerned, but close enough. 

Let's pray the weather changes a little before Friday- taking pictures in 90 degree weather with a 9 month old does not sound like a party to me.

Happy Friday everyone! As you read this, I am officially away from Josie for the first time *tear*. Actually, I feel OK since I am only 15 minutes away and should anything happen, I'm close. I know Nick is really looking forward to his daddy/daughter weekend and deciding on what kind of shenanigans they will get into!

Josie is soooooooooooo close to crawling. I know I keep saying that, but this time I mean it. She has been working hard all week, and is really pushing up, rocking, scooting and belly flopping around. It's also taken her all week to get back on schedule. She has been so tired from last weekend, she is pissed when we get her up from naps, and ready to go to bed by 6pm.

We gave her a few pieces of couscous and peas. She wasn't all that thrilled, but enjoyed picking them up and blowing them out of her mouth. I will try and get a video next time, she was cracking us up.
